Associate Chief Manager-Electrical Design- MEP Projects -8+ Years' Experience-MumbaiSummary:
Join a dynamic engineering and infrastructure company as an Electrical Design Head within the MEP Projects Department, where you'll lead complex electrical design projects across commercial, residential, data center, and industrial sectors.Your Future Employer:

• Lead and manage multiple electrical design projects simultaneously in commercial buildings, data centers, hospitals, airports, metros, and industrial spaces.
• Coordinate effectively with clients, design consultants, PMC teams, vendors, execution and purchase departments, and sub-contractors.
• Provide technical leadership to a team of ~10 members, supporting their professional development.
• Prepare and review electrical drawings including Single Line Diagrams, layout/shop drawings, schematic wiring, protection & control schematics.
• Develop and submit technical datasheets with compliance statements; secure necessary consultant approvals.
• Conduct detailed electrical calculations: cable sizing, load estimation, generator sizing, DB schedules, and risk assessments.
• Assist the sales team with tendering support including quantity take-offs and pre-bid queries.
• Prepare accurate BOQs from approved engineering drawings.
• Perform technical evaluations of vendor offers and assist the purchase team in finalizing orders.
• Drive department-level corporate initiatives such as IMS, GRACE, and BE.
• Foster a culture of technical excellence and collaborative problem-solving.

What We're Looking ForEducation:

• Essential: Diploma or Degree in Engineering (Electrical)
• Preferred: M.Tech / ME in Electrical Engineering

Experience:

• Essential:

• Minimum 8 years (Degree holders) or 10 years (Diploma holders) in LT electrical design within MEP contracting firms.
• Proven knowledge of IEC, IEEE, NEC, NBC, IS codes and regulations.
