Amazon Advertising operates at the intersection of e-commerce and advertising, offering a rich array of advertising solutions. We partner with advertisers to reach Amazon customers on Amazon.com, across other owned and operated sites like Prime Video and IMDb, on other high-quality sites across the web, and on devices. The Analytics & Insights (A&I) organization develops actionable insights using Amazon's unique data to influence how advertisers promote their businesses. Our insights and measurement solutions enhance their marketing decision-making, and play a critical role in arming our global agency customers with the tools to develop and sell Amazon-focused ideas to their clients.
Key job responsibilities
We are hiring for an Analytics Manager to lead a team of analysts supporting Amazon's Advertising Analytics teams globally. This is a people management role, responsible for the performance, development, and delivery projects by individual contributors. You will be accountable for ensuring high-quality outputs, setting priorities, mentoring team members, and managing stakeholder expectations. The ideal candidate is a servant-leader with strong technical and analytical acumen, team-building skills, and global stakeholder management experience. You will build and mentor a high performance team, and lead with empathy.
About the team
We are the Analytics & Insights team within the global Amazon Ads business. We solve problems for our sales teams, advertisers and partners by leveraging Amazon's rich first party insights and partnering with third party vendors (if needed). We help advertisers and agencies optimize and grow their investment on Amazon Ads.
BASIC QUALIFICATIONS
- Bachelor's degree in a technical or quantitative field
- 8+ years of experience in analytics or data-driven roles, with 3+ years in people management
- Experience managing delivery of technical analytics or BI solutions
- Strong stakeholder management, prioritization, and conflict resolution skills
- Experience mentoring, providing feedback, and fostering career growth
- Familiarity with SQL and analytics tools (e.g.,Python, Excel, Quicksight) to guide and review team outputs
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
- MBA or Masters degree in business, analytics , computer science or similar field
- Prior experience managing offshore analytics or shared service teams
- Experience working in advertising, marketing analytics, or a related domain
- Ability to influence senior stakeholders across geographies
- Demonstrated leadership in fast-paced, global environment
