Accounting & Financial Reporting

Prepare and review financial statements (P&L, Balance Sheet, Cash Flow). Coordinate internal and statutory audits and ensure timely closure.

Taxation & Compliance

Manage direct and indirect tax compliance (Income Tax, GST, TDS). Prepare and file timely tax returns and handle assessments and appeals. Monitor changes in tax laws and implement necessary updates. Liaise with tax consultants and government authorities.

Strategic Planning & Controls

Develop and implement internal financial controls and risk mitigation strategies. Support budgeting and forecasting processes with financial insights. Identify tax-saving opportunities and optimize tax liabilities. Ensure accurate documentation and record-keeping for audit trails.

Team Leadership & Collaboration

Lead and mentor the accounts and taxation team. Collaborate with cross-functional departments for financial clarity and compliance. Train junior staff on accounting standards and tax regulations.

Key Skills & Competencies

Strong knowledge of accounting principles and tax laws. Proficiency in ERP systems (e.g., Tally, SAP) and MS Excel. Analytical mindset with attention to detail. Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills. Ability to handle multiple deadlines and regulatory pressures.

Qualifications & Experience

CA with 2 years / MBA (Finance) preferred. 2-6 years of experience in accounting and taxation roles. Experience in handling audits, tax assessments, and financial reporting.
