to lead the financial operations of our Chakan office. The ideal candidate will act as the key accounting authority, responsible for ensuring sound financial management, statutory compliance, and accurate financial reporting. The role also requires coordination with internal and external stakeholders, managing the finance team, and overseeing administrative operations to ensure overall efficiency.
Key Responsibilities :
1. Financial Accounting, Reporting & Analysis :-
Prepare, analyze, and present monthly Profit & Loss statements and quarterly Balance Sheets, identifying risks and advising management accordingly.
Submit Monthly Group Financial Reports within deadlines.
Prepare project cost sheets, conduct variance analysis (budget vs. actual), and provide actionable insights.
Lead cost control initiatives; analyze purchase costs, overheads, and operational expenses.
Prepare and review monthly aging reports for Receivables, Payables, and Inventory. Coordinate with the Credit Control team for timely collections and payments.
2. Statutory Compliance & Taxation :-
Ensure adherence to all statutory regulations: GST, Income Tax, VAT, Excise, Service Tax, Transfer Pricing, etc.
Liaise with statutory and tax auditors; coordinate audits and ensure timely, accurate submission of documents.
Oversee tax computations, return filings, and respond to tax-related notices and assessments.
Stay updated on amendments to Ind AS, commercial laws, and tax regulations to ensure timely implementation.
3. Accounts Payable & Receivable :-
Manage vendor payments in line with contractual terms while optimizing cash flow.
Oversee customer billing, expense bookings, and vendor invoice processing.
Ensure strong internal financial controls to prevent leakage and ensure compliance.
Manage risk by enforcing adherence to internal policies and external regulations.
4. Import / Export Accounting & Operations :-
Manage end-to-end import/export documentation including customs clearance, freight forwarding, and compliance with international trade laws.
Reconcile freight, customs, and duty charges within accounting systems.
Maintain and analyze shipping costs and support import/export-related financial reporting.
Ensure accurate accounting of foreign exchange fluctuations and bank transactions related to trade.
5. Office Administration & Team Management :-
Lead and guide the accounting team to ensure smooth daily operations.
Coordinate with internal departments and external partners for seamless financial operations.
Oversee administrative responsibilities in alignment with corporate procedures and local requirements.
Qualifications & Experience :
Education:
Bachelor's degree in Commerce or related field.
Inter CA / CA or equivalent (ICAI / ICMAI - Intermediate or Final level).
Experience:
Minimum 5-12 years of progressive experience in finance, accounting, and administration roles.
Prior experience in a manufacturing company is
mandatory

Technical Skills:
In-depth knowledge of Indian Accounting Standards (Ind AS), Direct & Indirect Taxes, GST, and Transfer Pricing.
Expertise in financial analysis, budgeting, MIS reporting, and cost control.
Advanced proficiency in SAP/ERP systems and MS Office (especially Excel and PowerPoint).
Understanding of international trade procedures, INCOTERMS, and inventory/freight reconciliation.
