Key Responsibilities
1. Accounting & Financial Reporting
Oversee day-to-day accounting operations (AP/AR, GL, bank reconciliation, asset accounting).
Ensure timely preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.
Review and finalize books of accounts as per applicable accounting standards.
2. Budgeting & Forecasting
Prepare annual budgets and rolling forecasts.
Track budget vs. actuals and provide variance analysis.
Support management with financial insights and recommendations.
3. Compliance & Taxation
Ensure compliance with GST, TDS, Income Tax, and other statutory requirements.
Coordinate with external auditors for statutory, tax, and internal audits.
File monthly/quarterly/annual returns on time.
4. Treasury & Cash Flow Management
Manage cash flow planning to ensure liquidity and operational efficiency.
Oversee banking operations, fund flow, payments, and vendor settlements.
Maintain relationships with banks and financial institutions.
5. Process Improvement & Internal Controls
Implement best practices in accounting processes and internal controls.
Review and strengthen SOPs for finance processes.
Identify cost-saving opportunities and enhance operational efficiency.
6. Team Coordination
Supervise and guide junior finance staff (if applicable).
Collaborate with cross-functional teams for financial data, budgeting, and reporting.
Required Qualifications & Skills
Education: CA Inter / MBA Finance / M.Com / Equivalent degree.
Experience: 5-8 years in Finance & Accounts, preferably in a corporate or mid-sized organization.
Strong knowledge of Accounting Standards, GST, TDS, Income Tax, and compliance.
Proficient in Tally / ERP systems / MS Excel.
Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
Ability to work independently and meet deadlines.
Job Types: Full-time, Permanent
Pay: ₹600,000.00 - ₹800,000.00 per year
Experience:

Freight Forwarding Industry: 3 years (Preferred)
