Experience Required: Minimum 5 years in accounting and compliance

Qualification: B.Com / M.Com / CA Inter /; Knowledge of Tally, Excel, and accounting software essential

Job Objective

The Manager - Accounts & Finance Department will be responsible for supervising the day-to-day accounting operations for multiple clients, ensuring compliance with applicable laws and accounting standards, managing a team of accountants, and liaising with clients for timely delivery of services. The role involves finalization of accounts, GST compliance, TDS, and MIS reporting, among other key deliverables.

Key ResponsibilitiesA. Core Accounting Functions

Area

Responsibilities

Bookkeeping

Accurate and timely recording of all accounting entries in Tally or other accounting systems Handling day-to-day transactions and ledger postings
Reconciliation

Bank, vendor, customer, and inter-company reconciliations Monthly closing activities and variance analysis
Finalisation

Preparation of trial balance, P&L and balance sheet Supporting finalisation of accounts as per applicable accounting standards
Audit Support

Preparation of schedules for internal, statutory and tax audits Coordination with auditors and resolving audit queries
Team Management

Lead and manage a team of accountants and junior staff

Allocate tasks, review work, and ensure deadlines are met

Provide training, mentoring, and performance feedback to team members

Client Coordination

Act as a point of contact for client queries related to accounting, GST, and compliance

Maintain strong client relationships and ensure client satisfaction

Conduct periodic client review meetings to update on deliverables and timelines

Update of periodic compliance report and status

Internal Process Improvement

Standardize and improve accounting and reporting processes

Ensure documentation, data security, and confidentiality protocols are followed

Keep updated with latest regulatory changes and advise clients accordingly

B. Statutory Compliance

TDS

Monthly computation and payment of TDS Filing of quarterly TDS returns and Form 16/16A
GST

Preparation and filing of GSTR-1, GSTR-3B, GSTR-9 (Annual Return) and GSTR-9C (Reconciliation Statement) Reconciliation of GSTR-2B with books and vendor follow-up
Other Filings

Preparation of data for Income Tax, ROC, and PF/ESIC compliance as required
Skills & Competencies

- Strong accounting knowledge and practical experience
- Strong technical knowledge of accounting standards, GST, TDS, and Companies Act

- Ability to independently handle clients' accounting and compliance matters
- Excellent in Tally, Excel (VLOOKUP, Pivot), and other accounting softwares
- Good communication, reporting and time-management skills
- Excellent team leadership and time management skills

Desirable Attributes

- Experience in working with multiple clients or CA firm
- Knowledge of accounting standards, GST, TDS and Income Tax provisions
- Familiarity with statutory audit and tax audit process

Remuneration

Based on skills, experience, and qualifications.

Pay: ?25,000.00 - ?40,000.00 per month
