Role Overview



The Manager - Accounts will be responsible for managing multiple client accounts on behalf of the firm. The role involves overseeing

finalization of accounts, GST compliance, and statutory filings

, while ensuring high-quality client servicing. The incumbent will act as a representative of the CA firm, maintaining professional relationships with clients and ensuring compliance with applicable accounting and tax laws.

Key ResponsibilitiesClient Account Management



Manage and supervise end-to-end accounting for assigned clients. Ensure timely

finalization of accounts

as per Indian Accounting Standards and relevant statutory requirements. Represent the firm in client meetings, addressing queries, providing financial insights, and building strong client relationships.

GST & Compliance



Review and ensure timely preparation & filing of

GST returns (GSTR-1, GSTR-3B, GSTR-9, GSTR-9C, etc.)

. Handle GST reconciliations (Input Tax Credit, GSTR-2B vs books, etc.). Stay updated with amendments in GST laws and advise clients accordingly. Support clients during GST audits, departmental notices, and assessments.

Audit & Finalization



Prepare and finalize client accounts, balance sheets, P&L statements, and financial reports. Assist in statutory, internal, and tax audits. Ensure compliance with Income Tax, Companies Act, and other applicable laws.

Team Management & Reporting



Supervise junior accountants and review their work for accuracy and compliance. Allocate tasks and ensure timely delivery of assignments. Report client status updates to the Partners/Senior CA.

Qualifications & Skills



Education:

B.Com / M.Com / Semi-qualified CA/CA/ICWA preferred

Experience:

5-8 years of accounting experience (preferably in a CA firm or corporate finance role). Strong knowledge of

finalization of accounts, GST compliance, and statutory requirements

.

Skills & Competencies:

Expertise in Tally, Zoho Books, QuickBooks, or other accounting software. Proficiency in MS Excel, MS Word, and reporting tools. Strong analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills. Excellent communication and client-handling skills. Ability to manage multiple clients and meet deadlines.
