Job Description

We are seeking highly motivated and experienced Accountants/Internal Auditors to join our team in auditing payroll, sales, and inventory in a hospital setting. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in accounting, finance, and internal auditing.

Responsibilities:

Conduct audits of payroll, sales, and inventory processes to ensure accuracy and compliance with hospital policies and procedures Review financial statements, balance sheets, income statements, and other financial reports Perform risk assessments to identify potential financial and operational risks Develop audit plans and programs to address identified risks Evaluate the effectiveness of internal controls and make recommendations for improvement Prepare audit reports and communicate findings and recommendations to management Collaborate with other departments and external auditors as necessary Ensure compliance with legal and regulatory requirements Stay up-to-date with industry trends and best practices in accounting and internal auditing
Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field Certified Public Accountant (CPA) or Certified Internal Auditor (CIA) preferred Minimum of 3 years of experience in accounting, finance, or internal auditing Knowledge of payroll, sales, and inventory processes and internal controls Strong analytical and problem-solving skills Excellent written and verbal communication skills Ability to work independently and as part of a team Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel and Word Experience with accounting software and data analysis tools
