: Manager - Finance & Accounts



Reporting Authority: Associate Director



As Manager - Finance & Accounts, your key responsibilities will include:



Overseeing the day-to-day Financial Operations of the Organization independently Ensuring accurate maintenance of cost centers, cost categories, ledgers, and groups for all income, expenditure, and balance sheet items. Liaising and coordinating with Trustees, Management, and other departments in your capacity as the Head of Accounts. Ensuring timely compilation and submission of MIS reports to management and relevant departments. Filing annual statutory returns, including FCRA and Income Tax, within stipulated timelines. Ensuring timely renewal of financial approvals such as 12A, 80G, and FCRA. Coordinating with Staff and Management for the preparation of the organizational budget. Monitoring organizational and donor specific budget utilization. Overseeing the organization's cash flow and fund flow management. Supervising stores functions and maintaining control over inventory management. Providing financial inputs for proposals submitted to donors and CSR grantors. Supporting internal audits, statutory audits, and any due diligence processes conducted by donor agencies. Organizing and maintaining financial statements. Performing random checks and conducting physical verification of the Organization's fixed assets at least twice a year. Managing the organization's locker and its contents, maintaining proper records of document movement. Maintaining login details and passwords for internet banking users. Maximizing returns on the Organization's investments. Ensuring the procurement of utilization certificates for all grants from Chartered Accountants and submitting them to donors/grant agencies. Undertaking any additional responsibilities as assigned by the Management.
Additionally, you will serve as a member of the Purchase Committee of the Organization.

Qualifications & Experience



Educational Qualification:

CA (Inter) / ICWA (Inter) / MBA (Finance) / M.Com or equivalent.

Experience:

Minimum 7-10 years of experience in finance and accounts, preferably in the non-profit sector.

Technical Skills:



Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., Tally, Zoho). Strong knowledge of statutory compliance, including Income Tax, FCRA, and GST regulations. Expertise in budget preparation, financial reporting, and MIS analysis.

Soft Skills:



Strong leadership and team management abilities. Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills. Effective communication and coordination with internal and external stakeholders.

Contract length: 24 months

Pay: ?30,000.00 - ?45,000.00 per month
