The Position

Handling audit, internal control, and direct tax assessment & compliances.

Tasks & Responsibilities

Statutory audit as per Companies Act. Income tax audit and transfer pricing as Income tax Act. Conducting Group Audit. Income tax assessment and appeal. Internal control and Internal Audit - coordination with auditors and process owners, tracking of action plan, followup of open points. Accounting and books hygiene - GL Review, monitoring of provisions,Balance sheet schedules. Direct tax compliances - Return of Income, TDS return & certificates. Accounting/reporting coordination with GBSC/Ad-hoc projects. The role with have internal exposure to all functions locally, group FACT team & GBSC and external exposure to external/internal auditors, tax authorities. Help to build a robust compliance-oriented organization as regard to statutory regulation and internal policies.

Requirements

Education : Bachelors degree, Masters degree(e.g. MBBS, MSC), Diploma (Qualified Chartered Accountant) 4-7 years Experience in Pharma industry is desirable, direct tax audit & assessment exposure, MS Office & SAP. Knowledge of GAAP, direct taxation and experience of internal control framework Position will be based at mumbai.
