Job Overview

As a Chartered Accountant, you will focus on producing financial statements per applicable accounting standards, assisting in tax planning and strengthening financial controls. The ideal candidates should be willing to multitask and communicate effectively with other functions.

Responsibilities

• Review of Books of Accounts: Thoroughly examine and analyze the company\'s financial records, ensuring accuracy, completeness, and compliance with accounting standards.
• Preparation of Financial Statements: Prepare timely and accurate financial statements, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements, in accordance with relevant accounting standards.
• Submission of Returns to RBI: Manage the timely and accurate submission of various reports and returns to the Reserve Bank of India (RBI) as required by regulatory authorities.
• Preparation & Review of Tax Statements: Prepare of Income tax statements, review of GST, and TDS returns, while ensuring compliance with tax laws.
• Review of Tax Audit: Coordinate and oversee the tax audit process, collaborating with external auditors to ensure compliance with tax regulations and timely resolution of any audit queries.
• Production of MIS for Management Review: Generate comprehensive Management Information System (MIS) reports, providing valuable financial insights, key performance indicators, and trends for management review and decision-making.
• Compliance and Regulatory Adherence: Stay updated on changes in financial and regulatory standards, ensuring the company\'s compliance with all relevant laws and guidelines.

Qualifications

• Chartered Accountant (CA) qualification is mandatory.
• Proven experience in a similar role, preferably within the financial sector.
• In-depth knowledge of accounting principles, taxation, and regulatory requirements.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Proficiency in financial software and MS Excel.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
