Managing the end-to-end Accounts Receivable process, ensuring accurate billing, collections, cash application and accounting compliance. Supporting the strategic expansion of Shared Services, including leading process transitions and embedding best-in-class practices. Driving automation, simplification and transformation initiatives to enable scalable, efficient operations. Building and mentoring a strong team, while fostering a collaborative, growth-oriented culture. Proactively managing change, driving adoption, and ensuring seamless stakeholder experiences across global functions.

Responsibilities



Responsibilities



Oversee day-to-day operations for AR, billing, collections, cash receipts, reconciliations, GL postings, and related accounting activities. Ensure compliance with accounting policies, global internal controls, and SOX requirements, with robust governance across processes. Lead the month and quarter-end close cycles, including reviewing journal entries, reconciliations, and variance analyses. Drive documentation, process mapping, and continuous improvement of workflows to enhance controls and efficiency. Partner with cross-functional teams including FP&A, treasury, business operations, and technology to support growth and strategic initiatives. Play a key role in transitioning new processes into Shared Services, ensuring seamless knowledge transfer and operational stability. Identify and deliver on automation opportunities, working closely with automation teams to drive innovation and digitization. Manage relationships with internal and external auditors, preparing accurate schedules and addressing audit requirements. Develop and coach the team, creating an environment that enables engagement, learning, and career progression. Serve as a change leader, ensuring smooth adoption of new tools, processes, and organizational shifts.

Qualifications



Skills & experience



Bachelor's degree in accounting/finance; CA/CPA is not mandatory 12-15 years of progressive experience in accounting operations in large MNC environments or Global Shared Services, with solid grounding in AR processes. Strong understanding of global accounting standards (US GAAP) and internal controls, with hands-on experience managing complex accounting operations. Proven success in leading process transitions, scaling Shared Services, and managing change initiatives. Technologically adept with expertise in Oracle (GL & Receivables), Blackline, and exposure to automation or analytics tools. Strategic thinker with a strong process mindset, capable of identifying risks and opportunities to drive operational excellence. Excellent communication, stakeholder partnership, and influencing skills, with experience working across global teams and senior leadership. Passion for developing people, building diverse, engaged teams, and fostering a collaborative "stronger together" culture.
