Job Summary Responsible for leading a team of Software Development Engineers in the planning and designing of software and web applications. Manages projects from design to testing, including new programs, enhancements and modifications. Collaborates with Quality Assurance team to conduct testing. Has overall responsibility for developing/administering performance standards for organizational unit. Manages team which may include exempt and non-exempt employees. Provides subject matter guidance to employees as required. Develops processes and procedures to drive department efficiencies and assists in the development and meeting of departmental budget.

Core Responsibilities

• Influencing and becoming a trusted advisor for the sourcing, engaging and deployment of security talent.
• Good solid understanding of core security practices such as security operations, vulnerability management, security engineering and security data/reporting metrics.
• Partner with key stakeholders to develop workforce strategies aligned to business objectives, providing guidance on processes and policies ensuring practices are aligned.
• Ensure key program documentation and training materials are developed and updated as required.
• Engage, motivate, and influence your team to deliver their best, leading by example and acting as a role model.
• Build a culture of two-way communication by having regular catch ups with your team to keep them informed and focus on delivering against cyber and technology objectives
• Provide clear direction and objectives to your team to enable them to understand business goal and the role they play in the security organisation.
• Recognise individual and team contributions, use Sky's reward and recognition tools to celebrate achievements and embed great behaviours
• Demonstrate through results, an aptitude for supporting and delivering multiple activities in parallel while maintaining schedule, responding effectively to changes in priority
• Responsible for ensuring the team operate effectively and efficiently in line with business KPIs

• Strong knowledge and experience of enterprise scale delivery
• Solid experience in a Technical Management / Technical Team Leading role
• At least 5 years' experience in leading a cyber security workforce.
• Previously implemented and developed a staff augmentation program in multiple countries with cross currencies
• A blend of people, data and operational skills, collaborative with peers, confident and self-aware
• Extensive knowledge of the labour market, analytics and the sourcing of contingent workforce

Employees at all levels are expected to:

• Strong knowledge and experience of enterprise scale delivery
• Solid experience in a Technical Management / Technical Team Leading role

Bachelor's Degree
