About the internship
Are you a proactive and detail-oriented individual with a passion for sustainability and organic products? Join The Affordable Organic Store as a \'Management Trainee - Procurement\' intern and gain invaluable experience in the world of sustainable procurement.
Selected intern\'s day-to-day responsibilities include:
1. Support the procurement team in sourcing organic products from various suppliers
2. Assist in negotiating contracts and agreements with vendors to ensure cost-effective procurement
3. Utilize MS Excel to analyze data and track inventory levels for efficient procurement
4. Collaborate with operations team to streamline procurement processes and ensure timely delivery of products
5. Communicate effectively with suppliers and other stakeholders to maintain strong relationships
6. Monitor market trends and industry developments to identify opportunities for cost savings and process improvements
7. Assist in developing and implementing sustainable procurement strategies to align with company values and goals
