Ataavi Bird Foundation

is a non-profit and a CSR initiative of

Zycus

, focused on inspiring people, especially youth to reconnect with nature through birdwatching, citizen science, and conservation awareness. Through bird walks, college chapters, outreach events, and a mobile app, Ataavi is building a vibrant community of young nature enthusiasts across India.

We're looking for an energetic, outgoing, and creative individual who can expand Ataavi's outreach across cities and campuses. As a Management Trainee / Intern, your focus will be on launching new college chapters, initiating bird walks in new cities, onboarding local bird guides, and driving innovative promotion of the Ataavi app.

Note:

This role is coordination and outreach-focused and does not involve fieldwork like long hours in forests or bird monitoring.

Key Responsibilities

Identify and onboard new colleges for Ataavi student chapters Engage local birders and nature clubs to initiate bird walks in new regions Recruit and coordinate with bird guides and community volunteers Promote the Ataavi app through creative campaigns, events, and partnerships Plan and execute fun, educational outreach efforts (competitions, challenges, webinars) Track and report outreach activities and growth across chapters and cities

Job Requirement



Recent graduates or final-year students in Zoology, Environmental Studies, Life Sciences, Mass Communication, or related fields Outgoing personality with strong interpersonal skills Excellent communication skills in English and at least one regional language Self-driven and comfortable initiating conversations and partnerships Interest in birds, nature, or sustainability Experience with student clubs, social campaigns, or outreach is a plus
