Inviting applications for the role of Management Trainee/Assistant Manager/Manager - Trade processing

The role will be primarily responsible for Trade support, settlement and processing for US Domestic and Global Trades with sound understanding of trade lifecycle from custody to broker to client. This involves loading, matching and settling trade activities following up with custodians, brokers and clients to resolve unmatched trades and handling claims from counterparties.

Responsibilities

Trade execution and settlement: Overseeing the entire trade life cycle, from initial order to final settlement and record-keeping. Transaction Processing: Record and reconcile trades, income, expenses, corporate actions, and other cash/position movements. Data management: Processing and reconciling various transactions, including payments, receivables, and income, dividend, and interest payments. Risk and compliance: Ensuring trades are processed in a secure environment and comply with all applicable laws, rules, and regulations. Error resolution: Handling discrepancies, investigating incidents, and implementing corrective actions for issues and customer complaints. Process improvement: Analyzing processes, acting as a subject matter expert, and recommending solutions to enhance efficiency. Collaboration: Working with internal and external parties, including traders, brokers, custodians, and IT, to resolve issues and complete projects. Client & Stakeholder Management: Communicate with clients, custodians, fund managers, and internal teams to resolve queries. Ensure timely escalation and resolution of issues. Experience of applications like Global Plus, AddVantage & Trust Desk applications would have added advantage.

Minimum Qualifications

Any Graduate (PG an added advantage) Effective probing & root cause analysis skills

Preferred Qualifications/ Skills

Relevant work experience in an Sr Associate role is a must. Previous experience in a middle/back office in financial services firm.
