SECTION III: PURPOSE OF THE ROLE
The role holder is responsible for enhancing the sustainability practices and governance policies of the real estate firm. This position involves developing and implementing strategies to minimize environmental impact, ensure compliance with relevant regulations, and promote sustainable development across all projects.
SECTION IV: KEY RESPONSIBILITIES AND ACCOUNTABILITIES OF THE ROLE
Sustainability Strategy Development:
Develop and implement comprehensive ESG strategies aligned with the companys mission and goals.
Conduct sustainability assessments and identify opportunities for improvement.Environmental Impact Management:
Monitor and manage the environmental performance of real estate projects.
Implement energy-efficient and eco-friendly building practices.
Ensure compliance with environmental regulations and standards.Governance and Compliance:
Ensure that all projects and operations adhere to relevant ESG regulations and standards.
Develop policies and procedures to support sustainable practices and governance.
Conduct regular audits and assessments to ensure compliance.Stakeholder Engagement:
Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to promote and implement ESG initiatives.
Prepare and present reports on ESG performance to senior management and stakeholders.
Engage with tenants, investors, and the community to promote sustainability efforts.Data Collection and Reporting:
Collect, analyze, and report data related to ESG metrics.
Prepare sustainability reports in accordance with industry standards and frameworks (e.g., GRI, SASB).
Track progress against ESG goals and provide recommendations for improvement.Education and Training:
Develop and deliver training programs to educate employees and stakeholders on ESG principles and practices.
Stay updated on the latest ESG trends, regulations, and best practices.Innovation and Best Practices:
Research and implement innovative sustainability technologies and practices.
Benchmark against industry peers and adopt best practices in ESG.Risk Management:
Identify and mitigate risks related to environmental impact and sustainability.

Education Qualification Bachelors degree in Environmental Science, Sustainability, Real Estate, Business Administration, or a related field. A Masters degree or relevant certifications (e.g., LEED, WELL) is a plus.
