Job Summary

Will support the finance and accounts function within the shipping and marine operations in day-to-day accounting operations while gaining hands-on exposure to financial reporting, budgeting, taxation, and compliance. The role is designed to develop strong accounting and financial management skills through structured training and on-the-job learning.

Key Responsibilities

Assist in maintaining books of accounts, ledgers, and journals Support preparation of financial statements, reports, and MIS Help with accounts payable and accounts receivable processes Assist in bank reconciliations and expense tracking Support budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis Assist with statutory compliances, audits, and tax-related documentation Maintain proper financial records and documentation Coordinate with internal departments for financial data Learn and adhere to company accounting policies and procedures.

Qualifications & Skills

MBA in Accounting and Finance from Tier 1 or Tier 2 college. Fresh Post -Graduates or candidates with up to 1-2 years of experience Basic knowledge of accounting principles and financial concepts Familiarity with MS Excel and accounting software. Strong analytical and numerical skills Good communication and teamwork abilities Willingness to learn and adapt in a fast-paced environment
