Job Description

Key Responsibilities:

Quality Management System (QMS) Development & Implementation:

Develop, implement, and maintain the company's QMS in accordance with applicable standards (e.g., ISO 9001, IATF 16949,ISO 14001).

Ensure that the QMS processes are aligned with company objectives and comply with regulatory requirements.

Work with department heads to ensure QMS processes are documented, effective, and followed across all areas of the organization.

Continuous Improvement & Process Optimization:

Lead continuous improvement initiatives to enhance quality, efficiency, and compliance.

Utilize methodologies like Six Sigma, Lean, and Kaizen to analyze processes and implement improvements.

Drive root cause analysis (RCA) for non-conformances and customer complaints, leading corrective and preventive actions (CAPA).

Audits & Compliance:

Plan, coordinate, and lead internal audits of the QMS to assess compliance with relevant quality standards and identify areas for improvement.

Prepare for and support external audits (e.g., ISO, customer, regulatory audits) and manage the certification renewal process.

Ensure the timely and successful closure of audit findings and non-conformities.

Documentation & Reporting:

Maintain accurate and up-to-date documentation of quality management processes, policies, procedures, and standards.

Create and update standard operating procedures (SOPs) and work instructions to reflect best practices.

Generate and present QMS performance reports, including audit results, CAPA effectiveness, and other quality metrics.

Training & Support:

Provide training to employees on QMS procedures, policies, and quality standards.

Offer support and guidance to teams in the implementation of quality initiatives, ensuring understanding and compliance.

Foster a culture of quality awareness and continuous improvement across all departments.

Supplier Quality Management:

Ensure that suppliers are aligned with the company's quality standards and QMS requirements.

Conduct supplier audits, track supplier performance, and collaborate with suppliers to resolve quality issues.

Change Management:

Manage the process for changes in the QMS, ensuring all changes are documented and communicated effectively across the organization.

Evaluate the impact of proposed changes on processes, procedures, and certifications.

Customer & Stakeholder Interaction:

Work with customer quality representatives to resolve any quality-related issues and improve customer satisfaction.

Maintain positive relationships with stakeholders, including regulatory bodies, auditors, and customers.

Requirements:

Education: Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Quality Management, Industrial Engineering, or a related field.

Experience: Minimum of 2-5 years of experience in quality management, quality engineering, or QMS-related roles, preferably in a manufacturing, engineering, or regulated industry.

Skills:

Strong knowledge of quality management systems (e.g., ISO 9001, IATF 16949).

Proficient in QMS documentation, audits, and process optimization.

Experience with tools like Six Sigma, Lean, FMEA, and root cause analysis.

Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making abilities.

Familiarity with industry-specific regulations (e.g., FDA, automotive standards, aerospace) is a plus.

Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) and QMS software.

Strong communication and interpersonal skills for working across teams and with customers.

Preferred Qualifications:

Certification in Quality Management (e.g., ASQ Certified Quality Auditor, ISO 9001 Lead Auditor).

Knowledge of statistical process control (SPC) and other quality improvement tools.

Experience with ERP or QMS software.

Working Conditions:

Full-time position with standard working hours.

Occasional travel may be required for audits or site visits.

Work is primarily in an office environment with occasional visits to production areas.

Pay: ?35,000.00 - ?40,000.00 per month
