We're looking for a Management Accountant to join our team on a 12-month fixed-term basis, covering for a colleague seconded to a Microsoft D365 implementation project. This role is key to maintaining the integrity of our financial reporting and supporting business decision-making during a period of transformation. Key responsibilities

Prepare and analyse monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports Develop and maintain budgets, forecasts, and financial models Perform variance analysis and investigate discrepancies Conduct cost analysis and recommend cost-saving measures Assist in the preparation of management accounts and KPI reports Collaborate with other departments to improve financial processes and systems Support the month-end and year-end closing processes Ensure compliance with accounting standards, tax regulations, and internal controls Contribute to process improvement initiatives and special projects as needed

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field Professional accounting qualification (e.g., CA, CMA ..) Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in management accounting or a similar role Strong knowledge of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP) and International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS) Proficiency in advanced Excel functions and financial modeling Experience with ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle) Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills Strong attention to detail and ability to meet deadlines Effective communication and interpersonal skills Knowledge of tax regulations and compliance requirements Experience in budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment
