Title/Position: Managed File Transfer Enterprise (MFTE) Specialist / Engineer

Key Responsibilities:

MFT Architecture & Implementation:

Design, implement, and manage robust MFT solutions across enterprise-scale infrastructure. Handle end-to-end MFT implementation including onboarding, configuration, and system integration. Evaluate, configure, and optimize MFT platforms for high availability, reliability, and scalability. Lead large-scale migrations or MFT transformations from legacy tools to modern platforms.

Infrastructure & Networking:

Architect and maintain the underlying infrastructure required to support MFT tools. Ensure proper network configurations, including inbound/outbound ports, firewalls, DMZ setups, and NAT rules. Work with load balancers (F5, HAProxy, etc.) to ensure fault tolerance and performance optimization for file transfers. Implement redundancy, failover mechanisms, and capacity planning for infrastructure stability.

Security, Compliance & Encryption:

Enforce security best practices across MFT environments (PGP/GPG encryption, SSH key management, role-based access control). Set up secure, compliant, and auditable transfer channels. Manage and monitor secure authentication mechanisms (e.g., password-less fingerprint authentication).

Automation & Integration:

Develop and maintain infrastructure automation (via Shell, Python, PowerShell, etc.). Integrate MFT platforms with external systems via APIs, web services, and message brokers. Work on scheduling/orchestration integrations (e.g., with Control-M, but not mandatory).

Required Skills:

6+ years of experience in Infrastructure and Network Engineering roles. Hands-on experience in MFT implementation across enterprise environments. Strong understanding of file transfer protocols: SFTP, FTP, FTPS, HTTPS, AS2. Experience with PGP/GPG encryption, SSH key management, and secure authentication. Solid background in networking: TCP/IP, routing, switching, firewalls, load balancers. Strong scripting and automation experience (Shell, Python, PowerShell). * Exposure to Control-M or similar job schedulers is a plus.
