The role includes setting basic machine parameters, loading materials, checking measurements, and monitoring the machine during operation. The operator must inspect parts using measuring tools, maintain accuracy, follow production targets, and keep the machine and workplace clean. Daily basic maintenance, reporting any issues, and following safety rules are essential. The job requires basic machine knowledge, understanding of engineering drawings, and use of measuring instruments
Operate and monitor the machine (DRO, VMC, Laser, or Bending).
Load and unload materials correctly.
Set required parameters like speed, feed, tools, or programs (basic level).
Start machine process and check if it is running smoothly.
Read engineering drawings and follow measurements.
Use measuring tools like vernier calipers, micrometers, height gauges, and tapes.
Inspect parts during and after the process to maintain accuracy.
Ensure parts match size, shape, and quality standards
Achieve daily production targets.
Maintain proper documentation of work done (job card, production sheet, etc.).
Inform supervisor if production is delayed or issues occur.
Perform daily cleaning and basic maintenance.
Check for worn-out tools, unusual sounds, or vibration.
Immediately report technical problems to maintenance or supervisor.
