Role Overview:

We are looking for a skilled and creative

Makeup Artist

with experience working alongside performers, theatre artists, or stage professionals. The ideal candidate understands character-based makeup, stage lighting requirements, and long-hour performance settings.

Key Responsibilities:

Create makeup looks for

theatre performances, live shows, shoots, and artist appearances

Design character-based makeup according to scripts, themes, and director briefs Understand stage lighting and ensure makeup complements lighting conditions Collaborate closely with costume designers, directors, and performers Ensure makeup longevity during long performances Maintain hygiene standards and manage makeup kits professionally

Requirements:

Proven experience working with

artists, theatre performers, or stage productions

Strong understanding of

character transformation and dramatic makeup

Knowledge of skin types, products, and stage-friendly techniques Ability to work under tight timelines and live-event pressure Creative mindset with attention to detail

Preferred Skills:

Special effects (SFX) or prosthetic experience (a plus) Hairstyling knowledge for stage looks Portfolio showcasing theatre or performance-based work
