A Hair Stylist and Makeup Artist creates and maintains the appearance of individuals for various purposes, including film, television, theater, fashion, and special events. They work with a variety of tools and products to style hair and apply makeup, ensuring the desired look aligns with the overall vision and requirements. This role often involves collaboration with other creative professionals like directors, costume designers, and photographers.

Key Responsibilities:Washing, cutting, blow-drying, styling, setting hair, and applying specialized products to achieve specific designs.

Makeup Application:

Applying makeup to enhance features, correct imperfections, and create desired looks, considering skin tone, eye color, and hair color.

Continuity:

Maintaining consistent hair and makeup looks throughout filming or events, often requiring close attention to detail and the ability to troubleshoot issues.

Client Consultation:

Understanding client preferences and requirements, and providing advice on suitable styles and techniques.

Product and Tool Management:

Ensuring all tools and products are clean, organized, and readily available for use.

Trend Awareness:

Staying up-to-date with the latest trends, techniques, and products in the beauty industry. Working with other members of the creative team, such as directors, costume designers, and photographers, to achieve a cohesive look.
