Maintenance Technician - Water Treatment Plant (WTP)

Shift & Working Hours:

8-hour duty Rotational shifts

Key Responsibilities:

Operate and maintain Water Treatment Plant (WTP) systems including filters, pumps, RO, softeners, and dosing systems Perform daily monitoring of water quality parameters (pH, TDS, hardness, chlorine, etc.) Carry out preventive, predictive, and breakdown maintenance of WTP equipment Ensure uninterrupted water supply for plant operations Identify faults, troubleshoot issues, and coordinate repairs Maintain daily logbooks, checklists, and maintenance records Handle chemical dosing safely and as per SOPs Follow safety guidelines, environmental norms, and company policies Coordinate with supervisors and shift teams for smooth operations

Eligibility & Skills Required:

Education:

12th Pass / ITI (Mechanical / Electrical / Fitter preferred)

Experience:

6 months to 1 year in Water Treatment Plant (WTP) operation & maintenance Basic knowledge of pumps, motors, valves, and pipelines Understanding of water treatment processes and safety practices Ability to work in rotational shifts
