Job Summary:

The Maintenance Technician is responsible for providing preventive and reactive maintenance to ensure the smooth operation, safety, and functionality of all hotel equipment, guest rooms, public areas, and back-of-house facilities. The role requires strong technical skills, problem-solving abilities, and a commitment to maintaining high standards of hospitality.

Key Responsibilities:1. Preventive & Routine Maintenance

Conduct regular inspections of guest rooms, public areas, and hotel facilities. Perform scheduled preventive maintenance on HVAC systems, electrical systems, plumbing, kitchen equipment, pumps, boilers, and generators. Maintain maintenance logs and update checklists as required.

2. Repairs & Troubleshooting

Respond promptly to maintenance requests from guests or staff. Troubleshoot and repair issues related to: Electrical systems Plumbing systems Air-conditioning / refrigeration Carpentry, painting, and minor civil works Kitchen and laundry equipment Ensure all repairs meet safety and quality standards.

3. Safety & Compliance

Follow all hotel safety protocols and ensure safe working conditions. Ensure compliance with fire & safety regulations, including fire alarm checks, emergency lighting, and firefighting equipment readiness. Report hazardous situations and take corrective actions.

4. Equipment & Inventory Management

Monitor maintenance tools, equipment, and spare parts inventory. Requisition materials and report shortages to the supervisor. Ensure proper care and usage of tools and machinery.

5. Guest Service

Attend guest room calls with courtesy and resolve issues efficiently. Maintain guest satisfaction by ensuring minimal downtime of equipment and facilities.

6. Teamwork & Documentation

Coordinate with housekeeping, front office, and other departments for repair and maintenance tasks. Maintain daily activity reports and update job completion records. Support major repair works and renovation projects.

Qualifications & Skills:

ITI / Diploma in Electrical, Plumbing, Refrigeration, or Mechanical trade. Minimum

2-4 years of experience

in hotel or hospitality maintenance (preferred).
Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: ₹20,000.00 - ₹22,000.00 per month
