Job Summary

The Maintenance Engineer is responsible for planning, executing, and optimizing maintenance activities to ensure maximum equipment reliability, safety, and operational efficiency. The role focuses on preventive, corrective, and predictive maintenance while minimizing downtime and maintenance costs.

Key Responsibilities

Plan and execute preventive and breakdown maintenance for plant equipment and facilities Diagnose root causes of equipment failures and implement corrective actions Ensure optimal uptime of machines/equipment Supervise maintenance technicians and contractors Coordinate maintenance activities with production and operations teams Manage spare parts inventory and maintenance tools Support installation and commissioning of new equipment Ensure compliance with safety requirements Maintain accurate maintenance records, reports, and documentation

Required Qualifications

Bachelor's degree / Diploma in Mechanical, Electrical/Electronics, Mechatronics, or Industrial Engineering 3-8 years of experience in maintenance engineering (from Smart Card manufacturing industry is preferred) Knowledge of mechanical systems, electrical-electronic systems, and basic automation Experience with preventive and predictive maintenance methodologies Ability to read and interpret technical drawings, manuals, and schematics

Preferred Qualifications

Experience in smart card manufacturing, print & packaging / process industries / facilities management Knowledge of PLCs, drives, sensors, and industrial automation Knowledge of pneumatic and hydraulic systems

Pay: ?350,000.00 - ?400,000.00 per year
