Maintenance Engineer

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Maintenance Engineer Mechanical to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring the efficient and reliable operation of equipment and machinery and developing and executing maintenance plans to minimise downtime and disruptions. The Maintenance Engineer will report to the Maintenance Manager and work closely with production teams, management and suppliers to achieve organisational goals.

Responsibilities:

Conduct preventive and corrective maintenance activities to ensure the efficient and reliable operation of equipment and machinery Troubleshoot and diagnose problems and develop and execute maintenance plans to minimise downtime and disruptions Analyse data to identify trends, diagnose problems and develop solutions to improve equipment reliability and performance Collaborate with production teams, management and suppliers to develop and execute maintenance plans that meet organisational goals and priorities Ensure that those conducting maintenance activities are in compliance with safety standards and regulations, and identify and mitigate potential safety hazards Develop and maintain technical documentation, schematics and procedures to support maintenance activities Participate in ongoing training and development programmes to enhance skills and knowledge planning and carrying out scheduled maintenance. responding to emergencies. diagnosing faults. repairing equipment and testing repairs. supervising contractors, and engineering and technical staff. ordering specialist components, fixtures or fittings. creating maintenance procedures. managing stocks of supplies and equipment. keeping records of faults and repairs.
Qualifications:

A bachelor's degree in engineering or a related field(ITI mechanical, Diploma in mechanical ) 1-2 years of relevant work experience in mechanical, electrical or industrial maintenance Strong understanding of engineering principles and knowledge of equipment and machinery Ability to analyse information, diagnose problems and develop solutions Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
and ability to collaborate with others

Strong time management and organisational skills
and ability to prioritise tasks and make decisions under pressure

Commitment to maintaining a safe working environment and knowledge of safety procedures and regulations
Key skills for maintenance engineers

An ability to work well under pressure. Good verbal and written communication skills. Excellent technical skills and knowledge. Problem-solving skills. Teamworking skills. Understanding of gear box , Conveyor driven machines , Hands on knowledge with measurement equipments Use the CMMS to identify and implement equipment-specific maintenance strategies Ensure CMMS records are kept current A good aptitude for mechanical, hydraulic, pneumatic and mechanical systems and familiarity with the tools needed to work on them The ability to read & draw engineering drawings and schematics Perform routine inspections and servicing
