Job Description

To ensure smooth, safe, and continuous operation of plant machinery, utilities, and infrastructure by carrying out preventive, breakdown, and corrective maintenance in compliance with safety, quality, and statutory requirements.

Key Responsibilities

Perform preventive, breakdown, and corrective maintenance of plant machinery (reactors, pumps, agitators, dryers, etc.).

Maintain utilities such as boiler, chiller, compressor, DG set, cooling tower, ETP/STP.

Ensure smooth operation of electrical systems, motors, panels and basic instrumentation.

Follow safety procedures, SOPs, permit-to-work, and ensure PPE compliance.

Prepare and follow preventive maintenance schedules

Maintain maintenance records, breakdown logs, and spare parts details.

Coordinate with production, QC and external vendors/contractors.

Support equipment installation, commissioning and shutdown maintenance.

Report daily maintenance status to seniors.

Qualification & Experience

Diploma / BE / BTech - Mechanical / Electrical / Instrumentation

2-5 years experience in chemical or process industry

Skills Required

Knowledge of chemical plant equipment & utilities

Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills

Basic knowledge of safety and statutory compliance

Good documentation and coordination skills

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: ₹10,000.00 - ₹40,000.00 per month
