We are a leading ice cream manufacturer looking for a motivated and detail-oriented
Assistant Maintenance Mechanic
to join our technical team. In this role, you will support the Maintenance Department in ensuring that our production lines, refrigeration systems, and facility equipment operate at peak efficiency.
This is an excellent opportunity for a diploma holder to gain hands-on experience in a fast-paced food manufacturing environment.
Key Responsibilities
Preventive Maintenance:
Assist senior mechanics in performing routine inspections and scheduled maintenance on production machineries.
Troubleshooting:
Help identify and resolve mechanical or electrical issues to minimize production downtime.
Equipment Repairs:
Repair or replace worn-out parts, gaskets, motors, and conveyor belts under supervision.
Facility Support:
Maintain general utility systems including boilers, air compressors, and specialized refrigeration units.
Compliance & Safety:
Ensure all work is performed in accordance with food safety standards (HACCP/GMP) and OSHA safety regulations.
Documentation:
Maintain accurate logs of repairs and parts inventory.
Required Qualifications
Education:
Diploma in Mechanical Engineering
or
Diploma in Electrical Engineering
is mandatory.
Experience:
0-2 years of experience in a manufacturing or industrial setting (Freshers with strong internship backgrounds are encouraged to apply).
Technical Skills:
Basic understanding of hydraulics, pneumatics, and electrical circuits.
Physical Requirements:
Ability to lift up to 50 lbs, work in varying temperatures (including cold storage areas), and stand for extended periods.

Pay: ?18,000.00 - ?20,000.00 per month
