Job Description

The role involves ensuring that all pharmaceutical production and laboratory equipment functions smoothly, efficiently, and in strict compliance with industry regulations such as Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) and ISO standards.

Installation and Commissioning:

Install and set up new pharmaceutical machinery at manufacturing sites, ensuring proper integration into existing systems.

Maintenance:

Perform routine and preventive maintenance checks to minimize downtime and extend the lifespan of machines.

Troubleshooting and Repair:

Diagnose and resolve complex mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and instrumentation issues that arise during production.

Technical Support and Training:

Provide technical support and training to machine operators and production teams on proper equipment operation and maintenance procedures.

Process Improvement:

Collaborate with quality assurance and production teams to implement machinery upgrades and optimize overall equipment performance and efficiency.

Safety Adherence:

Ensure all maintenance operations are conducted following environmental, health, and safety (EHS) standards.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

A bachelor's degree or diploma in , Electrical Engineering, or a related field is typically required. Proven experience in servicing pharmaceutical or similar industrial machinery is essential. Strong technical expertise in mechanical systems, electrical drives, automation, and instrumentation. In-depth understanding of pharmaceutical industry regulations (FDA, GMP, ISO). Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and communication skills. Proficiency in using diagnostic tools and interpreting technical manuals and engineering drawings.
