Maintenance Technician

to join our growing team in Ezhichur, Oragadam.

Job Responsibilities:

As a Maintenance Technician, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of all electrical, machine, and electroplating maintenance functions within the plant. Your duties will include but are not limited to:

Electrical Maintenance:

Perform regular checks on electrical systems and troubleshoot faults. Ensure electrical equipment and systems comply with safety standards. Handle installations and repairs of electrical components, systems, and equipment.

Machine Maintenance:

Conduct preventive and corrective maintenance on machinery to ensure smooth and efficient operation. Troubleshoot and repair production machines and equipment when needed. Ensure machinery is working within the required specifications.

Electroplating Maintenance:

Maintain and repair electroplating equipment to ensure consistent production quality. Ensure electroplating processes are running efficiently and meet company standards. Perform regular checks and repairs of electroplating baths, anodes, and other related equipment.

General Maintenance Tasks:

Conduct routine inspections and preventive maintenance tasks. Record and document all maintenance work carried out, including updates on machinery, electrical systems, and electroplating processes. Coordinate with other departments to ensure minimal production downtime during maintenance activities. Maintain a clean and safe work environment, ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations.

Key Requirements:

Experience:

Minimum 2 years of experience in electrical, machine, and electroplating maintenance, preferably in a manufacturing or industrial environment.

Skills:

Hands-on experience in electrical, mechanical, and electroplating maintenance. Ability to troubleshoot and repair electrical and mechanical systems. Good knowledge of safety regulations and standards in the manufacturing industry. Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail. Ability to work independently or as part of a team.

Educational Qualifications:

Minimum:

Diploma or ITI in Electrical, Mechanical, or related fields.

Preferred:

Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or Mechanical Engineering or a related discipline.

Other Requirements:

Ability to work in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. Strong communication skills in both English and Tamil (preferred). Willingness to work in shifts if required.
