Job Description

Job Purpose:

Ensure the maintenance and upkeep of the entire hospital facility to ensure that the daily operations are carried out without any challenges

Job Responsibilities:

Perform boiler alarm tests, water tests and portable appliance tests (electrical) Carry out the maintenance and repairs of drains and sanitary ware, guttering and down pipes etc, and ensure plant rooms, workshops are kept in a safe and tidy condition Clear blockages in bedpan macerators, sinks, drains and toilets Handle renovation / repair works in the facility as and when needed Perform non-routine jobs as needed to ensure that the facility is in good condition Plan and organize daily work and coordinate with other members of the department and hospital staff to resolve any infrastructural issues Perform daily rounds to take note of potential damages or avoid complaints and maintaining proper checklist Accurately report the defects on a weekly basis to Facility Manager by clearly stating and highlighting faults and potential problems Participate actively in the planned preventative maintenance exercise

Job Specifications:

Qualification: ITI Experience: 3-4 years of experience in related industry and managing facility and equipment Technical Skills: Knowledge on electrical equipment and maintenance, proficiency in using all workshop equipment Management Skills: team player, maintain good people relations, practice conflict resolution Communication Skills: Good command over Kannada. Ability to resolve problems through effective communication
