Job Description

Key Responsibilities:

Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on production equipment, HVAC systems, utilities, and facility infrastructure. Ensure all equipment in cleanroom and controlled environments operates according to GMP standards. Support equipment installation, calibration, and validation activities. Maintain maintenance logs, service reports, and documentation in compliance with regulatory and internal requirements. Respond promptly to equipment breakdowns or malfunctions to minimize production downtime. Collaborate with Production, Quality Assurance, and Engineering teams to ensure optimal performance and compliance. Follow gowning procedures and other hygiene protocols when entering classified or cleanroom areas. Assist in the implementation of continuous improvement initiatives related to equipment reliability and process efficiency. Ensure proper inventory of spare parts and tools is maintained. Adhere to all health, safety, and environmental policies and procedures.

Qualifications & Skills:

ITI / Diploma / Degree in Mechanical, Electrical, or related engineering field. 2-5 years of maintenance experience in pharmaceutical, nutraceutical, food, or similar regulated manufacturing environment. Strong understanding of GMP, SOPs, and regulatory compliance. Experience with production equipment such as mixers, blenders, tablet presses, encapsulation machines, etc., is an advantage. Ability to read and interpret technical diagrams and equipment manuals. Good troubleshooting and problem-solving skills. Willingness to work in shifts and wear appropriate PPE and gowning as per classified area requirements.
