Job Title: Plant Maintenance Technician

Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled Maintenance Technician to join our team at our plant. The Maintenance Technician will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of machinery

(Extruders, ribbon blender, packing blender, screw conveyor, pumps, motors, valves, flanges, liquid reactors, storage lines, thermopac, cooling tower etc.)

Responsibilities:

Equipment Maintenance:

Conduct routine inspections, diagnose mechanical issues, and perform preventive maintenance on machinery and equipment like

(Extruders, ribbon blender, packing blender, screw conveyor, pumps, motors, valves, flanges, liquid reactors, storage lines, thermopac, cooling tower etc.)

Electrical Maintenance:

Perform general electrical maintenance and troubleshooting of plant electrical lines/wires, equipment panel, DG, HT&LT Panel etc. Troubleshoot electrical systems, circuits, and components to identify faults and perform necessary repairs, adhering to safety standards and electrical codes.

Repair and Troubleshooting:

Respond promptly to equipment breakdowns, troubleshoot issues, and execute necessary repairs to minimize production downtime.

Documentation:

Maintain accurate records of maintenance and repair work performed, including parts used and time spent on tasks.

Safety Compliance:

Adhere to safety protocols and guidelines while performing maintenance tasks, ensuring a safe working environment for all employees.

Collaboration:

Coordinate with other departments to schedule maintenance activities that minimize disruptions to production schedules.

Inventory Management:

Monitor and report on inventory levels of spare parts and supplies necessary for maintenance activities.

Requirements:

Proven experience as a Maintenance Technician or similar role in an industrial or manufacturing setting.

Prior experience of working in a liquid / solid manufacturing plant is preferable

. Strong mechanical aptitude with knowledge of various tools and equipment used in maintenance. Strong Electrical knowledge with the ability to troubleshoot electrical systems, read electrical schematics, and perform electrical repairs safely. Strong knowledge of AC induction motor, sensors, mechanical systems Understanding of safety protocols and the ability to follow guidelines to ensure a safe work environment. Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently or as part of a team. Technical degree or certification in mechanical or industrial maintenance is preferred.

Pay: ?8,086.00 - ?40,000.00 per month
