Supervise and lead the maintenance team during assigned shifts, ensuring optimal performance and adherence to safety protocols.
Coordinate daily maintenance tasks, including but not limited to electrical systems, plumbing, and general repairs.
Conduct regular inspections of the hotel premises to identify maintenance needs and address them in a timely manner.
Respond promptly to maintenance requests from guests and staff, prioritizing urgent issues and ensuring resolution.
Oversee the scheduling of preventative maintenance tasks to minimize downtime and prolong the lifespan of equipment and facilities.
Train and mentor maintenance staff, providing guidance on best practices, safety procedures, and customer service standards.
Maintain inventory of supplies and equipment necessary for maintenance operations, ensuring adequate stock levels at all times.
Collaborate with other departments, such as housekeeping and front desk, to coordinate maintenance activities and minimize disruptions to guest services.
Prepare reports on maintenance activities, including work orders completed, equipment inspections, and budget expenditures.
Qualifications:
High school diploma or equivalent; additional certification in maintenance or related field preferred.
Strong knowledge of electrical, plumbing, and general building maintenance principles.
Excellent leadership and interpersonal skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire team members.
Solid problem-solving abilities, with a proactive approach to identifying and resolving issues.
