Job Description

Plan, schedule, and supervise preventive and corrective maintenance activities for all machinery and equipment. Monitor and ensure proper functioning of plant utilities such as compressors, generators, HVAC, and electrical panels. Maintain and update maintenance records, checklists, and equipment history. Coordinate with production and quality teams to minimize machine downtime and resolve breakdown issues quickly. Implement safety practices and ensure compliance with all plant safety norms and statutory requirements. Supervise maintenance technicians, assign tasks, and ensure proper work allocation and performance. Manage spare parts inventory and ensure timely procurement of critical spares. Support installation and commissioning of new equipment or process modifications. Conduct root cause analysis for recurring breakdowns and suggest preventive actions. Ensure adherence to ISO/TPM/5S standards in the maintenance department. Prepare maintenance reports and present KPIs such as MTTR, MTBF, and downtime analysis.
