Responsibilities


Safety Duties and Responsibilities
  • Follow safe work procedure and rules.
  • Conduct and review systematically the risk assessment with respect to equipment, activity and workplace.
  • Take corrective action on unsafe conditions/act raised by supervisors / workers.
  • Participate in plant safety committee meetings and raise the safety concern. (Those who are the member of SHE Committee).
  • Visit seriously injured person at hospital/ home and report to the concerned plant manager and head of safety department.
  • Organize training and safety talks. 4.8.7 Ensure investigation of each Accident / Incident / Near Miss occurring in the department. Implement remedial measures to avoid recurrence.
  • Control the exposure of substances hazardous to health. 4.8.8 Help the manager in compliance of statutory provisions pertaining to safety.
  • Follow safety work permit.

Profile


  • Preparation of annual maintenance contract and other contracts.
  • To plan for major overhauling of the critical equipments to be taken up in the year
  • To plan for yearly preventive maintenance schedule for avoiding B/D of the equipment
  • Communication with various suppliers / vendors for maintaining and upgrading equipments
  • Ensure legal compliance of statutory requirements pertaining to the department.
  • Develop the specification for new spare requirement
  • Discuss with subordinate for spare part procurement and repairing of old sub assemblies.
  • Develop strategy to reduce the inventory of Electrical equipments
  • To collect SWP and do risk assessment of jobs being taken up if required.
  • Troubleshooting any Electrical maintenance problem.
  • He will also be responsible for management of all assets covered under Electrical dept.
  • Preparing departmental reports, accomplishing departmental projects, tracking variances and ensuring achieving departmental objectives and targets in consultation with Manager Electrical.
  • Ensure analysis of all failures / deviations appearing from time to time and take adequate measures so that such failures / deviations do not repeat in future.
  • Controlling of overtime and import substitution of spare parts as per requirement.
  • Preparation of various technical reports like monthly report etc.


Education & Experience


Education : Candidate should be B.tech – Electrical from reputed College/University Candidate Should Score 60% in 10th, 12th & B- Tech (Electrical). Experience : Candidate Should have 3 to 5 years of Experience . Experience from Fertilizer Industry will be preferred. Preference will be given to candidate having Electrical Supervisory license
