Role Description - Maintenance Worker

We are looking for a reliable and skilled Maintenance Worker to join our team on a full-time, on-site basis in Bengaluru North. The Maintenance Worker will play a key role in ensuring the smooth operation of our restaurant facilities by performing routine maintenance, troubleshooting issues, and carrying out repair work as needed.

Roles & Responsibilities

Perform daily equipment checks and routine maintenance on kitchen machinery, electrical systems, and plumbing fixtures. Carry out preventive maintenance schedules to minimize downtime and avoid costly repairs. Handle minor carpentry work such as door, furniture, and fixture repairs. Perform basic electrical and plumbing repairs (leakages, wiring, lighting, drainage, etc.). Operate and maintain power tools and equipment safely and efficiently. Respond promptly to urgent maintenance requests from operations and kitchen staff. Maintain proper records of repairs, replacements, and preventive maintenance activities. Ensure compliance with safety and hygiene standards across facilities. Coordinate with external vendors or contractors when specialized repair services are required. Support the restaurant team during inspections and audits related to facility upkeep. Qualifications & Skills 2-3 years of proven work experience as a Maintenance Worker, Technician, or in a similar role (preferably in hospitality, F&B, or facility management). Hands-on experience in carpentry, plumbing, and equipment maintenance. Good knowledge of preventive maintenance practices. Ability to troubleshoot and solve problems independently. Skilled in the safe handling of power tools and repair equipment. Strong time management and organizational skills. Basic knowledge of electrical systems will be an added advantage. Team player with good communication and a proactive approach.
