Maintenance & Repairs Manager

Role Summary:

The Senior Manager - Logistics & Supply Chain will be responsible for leading, optimizing, and overseeing end-to-end logistics and supply chain operations, with a strong focus on inventory planning, cargo movement, CLP management, documentation, vendor coordination, and reefer container operations. This role is critical in driving operational excellence, regulatory compliance, and service quality, while enabling process optimization, digital transformation, and continuous improvement across logistics and supply chain functions. The ideal candidate will bring strong execution capability, strategic thinking, and deep domain expertise in logistics and cold chain operations.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Strategic Logistics & Supply Chain Leadership: Lead end-to-end supply chain operations, including inventory planning, cargo movement, and warehouse stuffing. Develop and execute strategies to optimize container load planning (CLP), reduce delays, and maximize operational utilization. Oversee transportation planning and container transfers from CY to CFS with strong focus on efficiency and cost control. Drive continuous improvement initiatives in yard management, stuffing processes, and material handling operations. 2. Documentation & Compliance Oversight: Ensure accuracy and compliance for all export/import documentation such as shipping bills, invoices, and customs forms Establish strong systems for documentation control, shipment tracking, and ERP/logistics software updates. Monitor reefer container operations (temperature, condition, status) ensuring adherence to international standards. Resolve documentation or cargo movement discrepancies by promoting accountability across stakeholders. 3. Stakeholder & Vendor Management: Build and maintain strong working relationships with shipping lines, CHAs, port authorities, and external vendors. Negotiate service contracts and SLAs to improve cost efficiency and service quality. Act as the senior liaison for customs teams, port authorities, and internal departments to ensure seamless execution. Represent MnR operations in leadership meetings and cross-functional discussions. 4. Reporting, Analysis & Decision Support: Oversee preparation of daily, weekly, and monthly reports on inventory status, material consumption, and shipment performance. Analyze logistics KPIs, identify operational risks, and implement corrective actions to ensure timely dispatches. Provide leadership with insights on cost optimization, vendor performance, and operational efficiency improvements. Lead digital transformation initiatives in logistics reporting, dashboards, automation, and analytics.

Qualifications:

Strong expertise in logistics operations, container handling, and warehouse management. In-depth knowledge of export/import documentation, customs procedures, and compliance requirements. Proficiency in logistics/ERP systems and advanced MS Excel for analytics and reporting. Exceptional leadership, stakeholder management, problem-solving, and negotiation skills. Ability to manage complex operations in fast-paced environments with multiple internal and external stakeholders.

Experience Requirements:

8-12 years of progressive experience in logistics, shipping, or warehouse operations. Proven experience in managing MnR functions, CLP operations, CHA coordination, and port operations. Strong background in vendor management, cost optimization, and large-scale container operations. Exposure to digital transformation projects within logistics and supply chain.
