Job Description

Core Responsibilities:

Utility Management:

Oversee daily operations of utilities including HVAC, compressed air systems,boilers, chillers,water treatment plants, and electrical distribution. Monitor utility consumption and implement energy-saving initiatives. Ensure compliance with statutory and environmental regulations.

Preventive & Breakdown Maintenance:

Plan and execute preventive maintenance schedules for all plant equipment and utility systems. Respond to breakdowns promptly to minimize downtime. Maintain records of maintenance activities and equipment history.

Project Execution & Equipment Installation:

Support installation and commissioning of new utility systems and equipment. Coordinate with vendors and contractors for project execution. Ensure timely completion of maintenance-related CAPEX projects.

Safety & Compliance:

Ensure all maintenance activities adhere to safety protocols and company standards. Conduct risk assessments and implement corrective actions. Maintain documentation for audits and inspections.

Team Coordination & Training:

Supervise maintenance technicians and contractors. Conduct training sessions on equipment handling and safety practices. Foster a culture of continuous improvement and reliability.

Engineering Purchasing:

Manage total purchasing for maintenance-related materials, oversee store operations, and ensure minimum stock levels are maintained.

AutoCAD Drawing Work:

Prepare, update, and manage all engineering drawings and layouts using AutoCAD.

Vendor & Contractor Coordination:

Handle outside parties/vendors for maintenance services, repairs, and project execution.

Routine Operations & Material Handling:

Supervise day-to-day maintenance activities and ensure timely availability and handling of required materials.

Team Motivation & Supervision:

Lead and motivate subordinates including fitters, helpers, and other support staff to ensure high performance and safety.

Engineering Documentation:

Maintain all documentation related to the engineering department including maintenance logs, compliance records, and audit files.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: ₹400,000.00 - ₹1,000,000.00 per year
