Position Overview

Pawfect Pet Foods Private Limited is seeking an experienced

Maintenance Manager

with strong expertise in

dairy plant maintenance, utilities management, ETP operations

, and

Greenfield project execution

. The ideal candidate will ensure high equipment reliability, optimize plant efficiency, and lead maintenance and utility operations end-to-end.

Key Responsibilities1. Plant Equipment Maintenance

Oversee preventive, corrective, and predictive maintenance for electrical systems, dairy processing machinery, and plant utilities. Ensure maximum uptime and reliability across the plant.

2. Electrical & Automation Systems

Manage HT/LT panels, transformers, DG sets, boilers, refrigeration units, and CIP systems. Monitor and troubleshoot PLC, SCADA, and VFD-based automation systems.

3. Breakdown Management

Diagnose and resolve electrical and mechanical breakdowns quickly to minimize downtime. Conduct root-cause analysis and implement effective corrective actions.

4. Team Leadership

Lead, train, and supervise the maintenance and utility team to ensure smooth day-to-day operations. Build a culture of safety, accountability, and continuous improvement.

5. ETP Operations

Manage

end-to-end Effluent Treatment Plant (ETP) operations

, ensuring compliance, efficiency, and smooth functioning. Supervise the ETP team, monitor parameters, and ensure adherence to regulatory norms.

6. Energy & Cost Optimization

Track and optimize power and resource consumption. Implement cost-effective maintenance strategies to improve operational efficiency.

7. Regulatory Compliance

Ensure adherence to electrical safety norms, GMP, FSSAI, HACCP, pollution-control standards, and other regulatory requirements. Maintain proper documentation for audits and inspections.

8. Inventory & Spare Parts Management

Maintain critical spare parts and consumables inventory to avoid production disruptions. Coordinate with vendors for timely procurement and service support.

9. Greenfield Project Management

Lead the planning, installation, and commissioning of new dairy plant and utility projects. Coordinate across civil, mechanical, electrical, and utility functions for seamless project execution.

10. Documentation & Reporting

Maintain updated logs, service records, and maintenance documentation. Prepare regular reports on equipment performance and maintenance KPIs.

Qualifications & Experience

B.Tech / Diploma in Electrical Engineering

10+ years of experience

in maintenance roles in the dairy or food processing industry Strong expertise in

ETP operations

, electrical maintenance, high-voltage systems, and plant utilities Hands-on experience with

PLC

,

SCADA

,

VFD systems

, refrigeration units, and automation troubleshooting In-depth knowledge of dairy processing equipment and end-to-end project execution Strong leadership, analytical, and problem-solving skills
