Job Description

A maintenance head in AAC block manufacturing is responsible for overseeing and managing all maintenance operations of machinery and equipment used in the AAC block production process. Their duties include troubleshooting equipment issues, coordinating repairs, planning preventive maintenance, reducing machine downtime, ensuring workplace safety compliance, and leading a team of maintenance technicians.

Key responsibilities typically include:

Supervising daily maintenance activities and addressing equipment malfunctions promptly to minimize production disruptions. Planning, scheduling, and executing preventive maintenance to keep machinery at optimal performance. Maintaining safety standards and compliance with environmental regulations. Coordinating with production and engineering teams for maintenance scheduling. Managing maintenance budgets, inventory of materials, and staff training and development. Responding to maintenance emergencies with willingness to work flexible hours when required. Leading continuous improvement efforts to enhance equipment reliability and production efficiency.
Important skills for this role are strong mechanical knowledge of AAC block production equipment, leadership ability, troubleshooting expertise, safety awareness, and capability to work under fast-paced conditions.
