Experience: 7-12 years in equipment maintenance, preferably in solar manufacturing

Position Summary:

The Maintenance Manager is responsible for overseeing the maintenance and repair of all machinery and equipment within the solar panel manufacturing facility. This role ensures that all equipment operates efficiently and safely, minimizing downtime and maximizing productivity.

Key Responsibilities:

Maintenance Strategy & Oversight:

Develop and implement maintenance strategies to ensure the reliability and efficiency of all production equipment, reporting to the Plant Head on performance and outcomes.

Team Management & Development:

Lead, manage, and mentor the Maintenance Incharge and their team. Oversee the training and development of maintenance personnel to enhance technical skills and performance.

Preventive Maintenance Planning:

Develop and manage preventive and predictive maintenance schedules. Work to optimize maintenance activities to minimize downtime and improve equipment lifespan.

Process & Equipment Optimization:

Identify opportunities for process improvements and equipment upgrades. Implement plans to reduce maintenance costs while ensuring optimal equipment performance.

Budget Management:

Develop and manage the maintenance budget. Track expenses, identify cost-saving opportunities, and report on budget performance to the Plant Head.

Cross-Functional Collaboration:

Work closely with production, engineering, and quality teams to ensure seamless operations and the timely resolution of any equipment-related issues.

Safety & Compliance:

Ensure adherence to safety standards, environmental regulations, and compliance with industry-specific maintenance and operational guidelines.

Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in engineering, Electrical or Mechanical Technology, or a related field. Minimum of 5-7 years of experience in maintenance and repair work, preferably in the solar manufacturing industry. Strong leadership and team management skills. Excellent problem-solving and decision-making abilities. Knowledge of PLCs, HVAC systems, and electrical and mechanical equipment. Proficiency in maintenance management software and tools. Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
