Key Responsibilities:
Lead, plan, and supervise all maintenance activities (mechanical, electrical, and utilities).
Ensure
smooth functioning of French fries processing lines
, including cutting, blanching, frying, freezing, and packaging machines.
Develop and implement preventive maintenance schedules and SOPs.
Minimize machine downtime and respond promptly to breakdowns.
Coordinate with the production and quality teams to maintain equipment standards.
Identify and implement continuous improvement measures to optimize plant operations.
Maintain inventory and procurement of spare parts and technical supplies.
Ensure all safety protocols and food industry standards (FSSAI, HACCP, etc.) are strictly followed.
Train and mentor the maintenance team to improve skills and productivity.
Maintain proper documentation of equipment history, maintenance records, and compliance checks.
Key Skills & Qualifications:
Degree/Diploma in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering.
Minimum
10 years of hands-on maintenance experience
, with
at least 5 years in French Fries or similar food processing industry
.
Strong technical knowledge of hydraulic systems, compressors, motors, PLC-controlled equipment, and refrigeration systems.
Excellent leadership, problem-solving, and communication skills.
Strong understanding of preventive and predictive maintenance tools.
