Position: Maintenance Manager
Job location: Sanand, Ahmedabad
Role Overview
We are seeking a seasoned Maintenance Manager to lead and strengthen our plant maintenance operations in a mid-sized precision engineering company. The ideal candidate will bring a strong technical foundation, hands-on expertise in breakdown, preventive, and predictive maintenance, and practical knowledge of Air Handling Units (AHU) and HVAC systems.
Key Responsibilities:
Plan, organize, and supervise preventive, predictive, and breakdown maintenance activities to ensure smooth operation of all machinery and plant equipment.
Lead and manage the maintenance team, ensuring timely task execution, skill enhancement, and adherence to safety standards.
Oversee maintenance of mechanical, electrical, and utility systems including Air Handling Units (AHU), HVAC, compressors, and other precision equipment.
Conduct root cause analysis for major breakdowns and implement corrective and preventive actions to minimize recurrence.
Monitor and control spare parts inventory, ensuring availability of critical spares while optimizing maintenance costs.
Ensure compliance with all statutory, safety, and environmental regulations within the maintenance function.
Coordinate with production and quality teams to align maintenance schedules with operational requirements.
Prepare maintenance reports, track key performance indicators (KPIs), and recommend improvements to enhance equipment reliability and efficiency.
