The Operations & Maintenance In-Charge will oversee the day-to-day upkeep, preventive maintenance, and efficient functioning of all resort facilities, utilities, and equipment. This role ensures that all guest areas, staff facilities, and operational systems are maintained to the highest standards, while ensuring minimal downtime and maximum safety.
Key ResponsibilitiesOperations Oversight
Supervise and coordinate daily resort maintenance operations (electrical, plumbing, HVAC, carpentry, painting, landscaping, etc.).
Ensure all resort facilities and equipment are in safe and working condition.
Coordinate with other departments (Housekeeping, F&B, Front Office, Security) to address maintenance requests promptly.
Maintain operational readiness of water features, lighting systems, elevators, and other guest amenities.
Preventive & Corrective Maintenance
Implement preventive maintenance schedules for all machinery, electrical panels, plumbing systems, and building infrastructure.
Respond quickly to emergency breakdowns to minimize operational disruption.
Maintain logs of maintenance work carried out and update records regularly.
Vendor & Inventory Management
Liaise with contractors, service providers, and suppliers for repair works and spare parts procurement.
Monitor inventory of tools, spare parts, and maintenance supplies, ensuring cost-effective usage.
Compliance & Safety
Ensure all maintenance work follows health & safety regulations, fire safety codes, and environmental policies.
Conduct regular inspections of fire safety systems, CCTV, security gates, and emergency lighting.
Maintain statutory compliance records (boilers, lifts, DG sets, pollution control, etc.).
Staff Supervision
Manage, train, and schedule maintenance team members for smooth shift operations.
Assign tasks, monitor performance, and ensure work quality meets resort standards.
Qualifications & Experience
Diploma/Degree in Mechanical, Electrical, Civil, or Facilities Management.
5+ years of experience in hospitality/resort/hotel maintenance.
Knowledge of preventive maintenance planning and safety protocols.
Hands-on experience with building services systems (HVAC, plumbing, electrical).
Skills Required
