Diploma / Degree in Electrical / Mechanical Engineering or relevant field

The Senior Maintenance Executive will be responsible for supervising, monitoring, and executing all maintenance and repair activities within the hospital premises. The role includes oversight of preventive maintenance schedules, vendor management (AMC/CMS), and ensuring uninterrupted operation of all critical engineering systems in compliance with healthcare safety and quality standards.

Key Responsibilities:

Monitor and ensure the smooth functioning of all hospital facilities, including electrical, plumbing, HVAC, medical gas systems, and general maintenance. Supervise and lead the maintenance team for timely execution of preventive and breakdown maintenance. Manage and monitor Annual Maintenance Contracts (AMC) and Comprehensive Maintenance Services (CMS) for all equipment and systems. Maintain records and documentation related to maintenance schedules, vendor performance, and statutory compliance. Coordinate with vendors, contractors, and internal departments for timely repairs and servicing. Ensure all maintenance activities adhere to hospital safety, NABH, and quality standards. Plan and control the maintenance budget and inventory of tools, spare parts, and materials. Respond promptly to maintenance issues to minimize downtime and operational disruptions. Participate in facility audits and implement continuous improvement initiatives.

Key Skills & Competencies:

Strong technical knowledge of hospital engineering systems (Electrical, Plumbing, HVAC, DG, Fire, and Medical Gas). Hands-on experience in multiskilled maintenance operations. Excellent team management, coordination, and problem-solving skills. Good communication, documentation, and reporting abilities. Proficiency in MS Office and maintenance management systems (if applicable).
