Job Summary:
The Maintenance General Electrician will handle installation, repair, and maintenance of electrical systems, equipment, and fixtures in the facility. The candidate must ensure safety, compliance, and uninterrupted power supply.
Roles & Responsibilities:
Perform routine inspection and preventive maintenance of electrical systems.
Troubleshoot and repair electrical issues in wiring, circuits, DB boards, and switches.
Install, maintain, and repair lighting systems, power equipment, and control panels.
Respond to electrical breakdowns and provide quick solutions.
Maintain electrical tools, equipment, and safety procedures.
Assist in generator, UPS, and transformer checks (if applicable).
Record maintenance activities and report to the supervisor.
Follow electrical safety standards and ensure compliance.
Qualifications:
ITI / Diploma in Electrical or related field
1-3 years of experience in building/facility electrical maintenance
Knowledge of wiring, electrical systems, and safety rules
Skills Required:
Strong troubleshooting and repair skills
Ability to read electrical diagrams
Good teamwork and communication
Knowledge of safety procedures
