Inspect and measure welded surfaces and assembled parts to ensure accuracy, proper fit, and conformance to specifications, sometimes using precision measuring instruments.
Safety and maintenance:
Adhere to all safety protocols, maintain equipment, and keep the work area clean.
Material preparation:
Prepare metal surfaces and materials for the welding process.
Troubleshooting:
Diagnose and repair faults with equipment and perform routine maintenance on machinery.
